I have tried to write this story at least three times, each time searching for the exact words to make them feel what I felt and after not finding the perfect way I decided to do it in the most honest way, a demonstration that all attempts will lead you to finding the right path. This really has been the way I have built my life until today.
I think I have worked since I was 13 years old, sure my parents already separated, but not absent and they always sought to instill in me the value of work. I thank them for giving me the foundations to be an independent woman, which later caused me inconveniences regarding emotional openness because I believed that I alone could cope with everything, but hey, that is another matter for another day. I remember my first job fondly … my grandmother was my business partner, it turns out that Doña Amantina was looking for a market expansion and that’s where I came to be part of her catalogue sales business. I was a commercial manager (CSO), offering lotions and creams to every friend of my mom who crossed my path, or to everyone in the building where my dad worked, from the doorman to the bosses of the company, I couldn’t stay still.
Time passed and now close to graduation, the first thing they ask you is: what will you do for the rest of your life? life, life, life, like an echo that remains in the head. Parents have many expectations, as they should, but in my case, it was not just my parents, I am the first of many grandchildren and the pride of my grandparents echoes in my head saying that I would be the first in the family to have a professional degree. But … How to define what to do for the rest of my life when I was just defining who I was as a person?
